Singapore River Festival 2016 returns this year with ‘Crossings' a dazzling tightrope spectacle by French performance group, Underclouds Cie, who will be staging a performance in Asia for the very first time.
Inspired by the story of Singapore River as the birthplace of Singapore, the show pays tribute to the development of Singapore through the eyes of the river. It is a celebration of life and how the river connects to and with the country and its people.
Blending tightrope acrobatics, dazzling choreography, music effects and multimedia projections, the show plunges the audience into a journey between dreams and reality. Between the past and future, strength and fragility, laughter and melancholy; Crossings explores the extraordinary theme of all our ordinary lives.
The group's performance will mark the very first time a tightrope has been extended across the Singapore River for a balancing act. Be sure to catch the incredible spectacle with your family and friends!
